Panel-scan condition sheets
Page-by-page notes on compression, colour shift, and missing gutters in Marvel NFT interiors.
Interiors fail in quieter ways than covers. A splash that looked thunderous on drop day can later show banding across a sky, or a gutter that collapsed into a single muddy strip.
We walk the issue page by page with the same lighting. Each sheet names the page number, the dominant panel grid, and any artefact that would bother a colourist: posterisation in night scenes, halos around white lettering, or sound-effect balloons that lost their outline.
When a double-page spread is served as two files, we record whether the centre fold still matches. Collectors often discover a one-pixel gap only after a device change; writing it down early saves a later argument with an insurer or an executor.
This service does not restore files. It describes them. Restoration, if you pursue it, stays with tools you choose on your own computer.
