Cold-storage backup coaching
How to duplicate cover and interior files onto offline media without confusing that copy with the on-chain comic.
A marketplace can rearrange a shelf. A phone can die. The pixels you care about still need a copy that is not the listing itself.
We sit with you while you copy the exported cover and interiors onto media you already own—an encrypted drive, a write-once disc, or a second laptop that never browses. Filenames follow a pattern: series, issue, serial, page, checksum shortcode.
The coaching hour is blunt about the legal line. The backup is a personal archive of files you were entitled to export. It is not a second mint, not a reprint licence, and not a way to list the same edition twice.
We also write a one-page “how to open this in 2035” note: which viewer you used, which colour profile you saw, and which checksum must match. Call if you want that hour booked by voice; there is no web form.
