A 2035 note for the drive in the drawer

Collectors are good at making copies and bad at explaining them. A drive labelled ‘NFT’ in 2026 is a riddle in 2035. We add a single printed page: which operating system, which viewer, which colour profile you believed you saw, and which hash must match for the cover.

Say clearly that the copy is not the listing and not a second mint. Say that Marvel marks belong to their owners. Say that Site Work Line only helped you write the page.

If the marketplace still exists, a later reader can visit it as a stranger. If it does not, the files and the note are what remain. That is preservation in the ordinary sense: keeping evidence of how a comic looked, not promising that a shop window will stay lit.
